Medium Tank The Ram Medium Tank was a Canadian development of the US M3 Medium Tank. Despite this, the US reserved the designation M4A5 for the Ram. The Ram was intended to be a home-grown combat vehicle for the Canadian army, but because the Canadian armored divisions were eventually equiped with the Sherman (a variety of models taken from British stores), the Ram never saw combat in its original form. However, there were many support vehicles ultimately developed using the Ram chassis, many of which played important roles on the front lines. | The Ram I mounted a 2-pdr cannon, and had hull side doors and auxilliary machinegun turrets on all examples. Used for training purposes in both Canada and the UK. Some converted to a variety of support vehicles. At this time, there are no kits available of this version. |

| Ram Mk II |
| The primary change with the Mark II was the upgrade to a 6-pdr cannon. During the production run, the side doors were removed, as well as the machinegun turret. While the gun tanks were not deployed in action, the OP versions certainly were. |
