| I have mixed feelings
about this barrel. It measures just a little bit short
according to several reference drawings (between 0.5 and
1.0mm short depending on the source). However, I really
like its shape, with the nice flare at the barrel tip.
The discrepancy in length measurement isn't too bad, but
what I really don't like about this piece are the grooves
in the metal left by the lathe as it cut the metal to
shape. RB is the only company I've seen that seems to
have this problem, but it's only on some of their pieces,
so I know they're capable of making better barrels. The label on this barrel states
that it is for the M4A3 Sherman, but in fact it would
work with any 75mm-armed Sherman.
