| As far as I know, this
is the only set of 105mm howitzer ammunition in our
scale, and they are beautiful. These shells can be used
for the M101 105mm howitzer (available from ACE), or for
any vehicle that mounted this gun, such as the M7 Priest
(available from UM). As you can see in the scan below, there
are 12 empty shell casings, and 4 each of 2 different
types of projectile. The projectile pictured on the left
below looks to me to be the high explosive shell,
although it could also stand in for smoke or gas shells
as well, depending on how it's painted. The projectile on
the right appears from its shape to be a HEAT round,
though I think it should be a hair shorter. My best
measurements show the parts to be very close to 1/72nd
scale, perhaps about 0.5mm short, which could easily be
measurement error on my part, as my references are
limited. Although the company photo below appears to show
the parts made from aluminum, you can see in the scan
above that the set I bought is made from brass.
