Dan Taylor is a well known sculptor for small scale figures, offering both complete figures as well as conversions, such as this set. Polish tankers in World War II wore the standard British tankers uniforms, so in many cases, we can use British AFV crew figures as stand-ins for Polish crewmen. However, the Poles tended to wear their black tanker's beret a bit differently than the British, canted more to the rear of the head, rather than the side. So Dan Taylor comes to our rescue with this excellent set of Polish tanker heads, with their distinctive berets complete with the Polish Eagle national symbol badge on the front. Very nice set.
